Get your services and prices into MergeCase in five minutes

Getting started4 min read

You do not need to finish every setting on your first login. Four steps get you to the point of recording a real booking; everything else can be filled in as you go.

Step one: services and prices

Open Settings → Services. There are presets for the treatments most shops offer, and starting from one of those and editing the price is usually much faster than building from scratch. Each service needs three things: a name, a duration, a price. Ignore categories for now.

Step two: therapists

Add whoever is on shift. If you work alone, add yourself — the schedule board needs at least one therapist before it can lay a day out.

Step three: rooms

Add one row per treatment room. If rooms have never been your constraint, add a single one to satisfy the requirement and split it out later if you ever need to.

Step four: opening hours

Hours are set per weekday rather than as one blanket open-and-close time. This step decides the time range the board displays and which slots your online booking page offers, so it is worth getting right.

What can wait

  • Price tiers such as weekend or member pricing — start with one flat price.
  • The online booking link — turn it on when you actually want clients booking themselves.
  • Historical client records — do not back-fill them. Start from today.
